Dealers den
“Bringing something shiny to peddle? Well, lucky for you that we've got our very own trading post on board for salesmen of all sorts. I wouldn't let Josef catch ya trying to hawk stuff outside o' there though. He can get mighty surly, in fact there's this one vein in his temple that you don't never wanna see”
Just off the main convention bar, the dealers' den offers everyone a location to buy or sell pretty much everything furry related: from art to apparel. Being so centrally located to the convention, plenty of potential customers pass through and there is lots to see and buy.
The room is large and airy with plenty of natural light, as well as access to a balcony with views of Canary Wharf, the futuristic business heart of London.
Seeing as not everyone has the same amount of stuff to sell, tables in the 'den come in three sizes:

Dealers den rules
- When will the Dealers' Den be open?
-
The Dealers' Den will be open at the following times:
Friday: 12:00 – 19:00
Saturday: 11:00 – 18:00
Sunday: 11:00 – 16:00
The Dealers' Den will be open to dealers (and only dealers) for 10 minutes before and after the normal opening times to allow for set-up and getting settled, with the exception of Friday and Sunday when the room will be open for significantly more time to allow for the setting up of and the packing away of goods and displays. The Dealers' Den will be locked securely at all other times, but if you choose to leave your stock overnight, this will be at your own risk. RBW and ARF cannot accept responsibility for items left in the room.
- When do I need to apply by?
The deadline for registrations is September 30th 2010. However, all registrations are subject to availability and are dealt with on a first-come, first-served basis. In other words, don't wait too long.
- Terms and Conditions
RBW would prefer that all of the items sold in the Dealers' Den are related to the interests of the fandom. However, Anime and other generally related products will be allowed for sale.
All products and sales in the 'Den must be in accordance with UK law.- Adult Products
-
Adult oriented products may be sold in the Dealers' Den with discretion. In particular, we require that such items are discreetly demonstrated and not openly displayed. Portfolios containing adult imagery must be clearly marked with their contents and kept closed when not being viewed.
Please also bear in mind recent changes to UK law regarding pornography.
If you are unable to, or would prefer not to, display your products discreetly, you can still register as we will be able to provide you with a partitioned off table so that you can display your items more openly. Please request this in the comments section of the registration form. Finally, contact a member of the Dealers' Den staff if you have any doubts about the suitability of your merchandise.
- Electrical equipment
-
All electrical equipment must be in the spirit of the Dealers' Den and electrically safe. We will provide a testing facility for a fee of £3 per device but would prefer that items are tested before the convention.
Please ask RBW staff before connecting anything to the mains in the 'Den. The supply is limited and we need an idea of how much power is being drawn at any time.
RBW staff reserve the right to disconnect and confiscate any appliance to protect the safety of attendees and the reliability of the supply.
- General
-
Please take care to avoid damaging dealers' stock. A large majority of items for sale will be hand-made and irreplaceable. Breakages must be paid for.
RBW has a responsibility to provide dealers with an environment conducive to commerce. Anyone intentionally disrupting normal operation of the 'Den will be ejected from the 'Den and not permitted to return. This also applies to dealers.
Dealers are responsible for keeping their areas tidy. We request that dealers keep excess stock and boxes stacked neatly under their tables to keep all gangways clear and to avoid creating trip hazards.
