These terms and conditions are bound to your convention ticket. Buying a ticket signifies your acceptance of these terms. Breach of the terms invalidates your ticket.

We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions. If we do, we'll make a reasonable effort to contact our registered users to let them know.

We might've forgotten some of the rules.

Your registration is not complete until it has been paid in full and approved by us.

Ain't no such thing as a free lunch.

You agree not to hold ARF or its staff liable for injury or loss/damage to person or property while arriving, attending, or departing the convention. The full liability waiver is listed below and acceptance of it, while voluntary, is a condition of sale.

If you trip over your own spacesuit, we ain't gonna pay out (as if we could afford to anyway)

The hotel is private property and the hotel and convention staff have the right to refuse entry for any reason.

If we're kicking you out, we don't got to listen to ya bawling. Save your breath for the other side of the airlock.

Payments are non-refundable, but may be transferred to a different registration.

You can't pull the rug from under our feet just 'cause yours get cold. You want out, sell your ticket.

The early-registration discount price must be paid by May 4th. After that date, the full ticket price must be paid, even if you registered sooner.

We ain't gullible.

You must be at least 18 years old by November 5th (the start of the event).

We ain't a daycare centre either.

You must respect the wishes of the hotel and convention staff and security personnel.

Their house, their rules. Our party, our rules too.

You must accept and abide by the code of conduct. If you breach the rules, your registration (and hotel booking, if any) may be cancelled and you will be escorted from the premises.

Act up too bad and we'll space ya.

Liability waiver

You agree to take reasonable precautions to prevent injury to yourself and your property during the convention. As a condition of attending the convention, you hereby, for yourself, your heirs, executors, and administrators, voluntarily and freely agree to assume all responsibilities for any and all risks of damage or injury that may occur to you or your property resulting from or arising out of, or incident to, your attendance of the convention. You hereby voluntarily and freely release and discharge the Anthropomorphic Representation Foundation and all of its employees, agents, successors, and assignees from any and all claims, damages, and rights of action that you, your heirs, executors, and administrators now have or may hereafter have for any injury to you, or your property resulting from or arising out of, or incident to, your attendance of the convention, including, but not limited to, any claims of damages or injury that might result from the negligence, actions, or omissions of the organisers of the convention and/or employees of the Anthropomorphic Representation Foundation.
